MOB (Men’s Only Business)
The MOB is about building community among guys, helping guys grow in their faith and fostering a support system among men at Shore. We want to help guys of all ages navigate the difficult issues that life throws at them and become more connected to one another and to Jesus.We do this through:
- Semi-regular social events for guys of all ages to connect in casual and fun ways.
- Courses and workshops just for guys on the big questions of life, and issues particularly relevant to men, such as men's health.
- Facilitating opportunities for guys to serve others in and out of the church in practical ways (e.g. construction project at the school where we meet).
- Weekly Pit-Stop groups where guys working in the same area can get together for breakfast or lunch to touch base and encourage each other.
- Other occasional events such as a mens camp and promotion of the Promise Keepers men's conference.
